Greetings to all, my name is Utkarsh Sharma and I hail from Malegaon, Nashik. I was once a simple commerce student and held a position as a Desktop Engineer at a private company in Pune in 2012. I had always aimed to work in the IT industry and, thus, achieved a Microsoft certification in that same year. After completing my B.Com in 2014, I obtained my RHCE certification and started searching for employment. However, recruiters often rejected my application due to my lack of an engineering background.

In December of 2014, I was granted a job interview at an MNC and was successful in passing four rounds, securing a position as a DevOps Engineer. I left that job after a year to work for a service-based partner organization. Since then, I have continually advanced my career and have obtained certifications in three clouds and various technologies.

I have had the privilege of working with multiple clients and traveling to Indonesia, Singapore, and Hong Kong for onsite projects. I even spent a month working at Google’s Singapore office on a migration project. I joined that organization as a junior IC and eventually left as a DevOps Manager after six years.

In April 2022, I finally joined Google and have since been part of a fantastic team and worked with great clients. My passion is helping customers migrate their workloads to GCP.

In my leisure time, I enjoy traveling and trekking. I have climbed many mountains and hope to conquer Everest one day. I have been happily married for the last 4 years.
