Valentine’s Special: Parents Worship Day

Today is an important day for all of us as we celebrate Valentine’s Day. It’s wonderful that we remember our beloved friends and spouses today, taking them out and giving them gifts.

While we celebrate Valentine’s Day for our loved ones, I’d also like to draw attention to everyone’s first love: our parents. They have spent their entire lives for our benefit, without any conditions, offering us unconditional love.

Yet, we often get so busy growing up that we forget they are getting older too. Let’s also celebrate this day as Parents Worship Day and simply give them a hug and thank them for everything they have done for us until now.

Do we remember those who brought us into this world?
Do we understand the pain they went through?
Do we recall their loving touch when we win or lose?
Even when we face betrayals in our relationships, they are always there for us.

This February 14th, let’s bring a smile to their faces. Let’s celebrate Parents Worship Day.
